📚 Gifts of new books for Dishman McGinnis students from the WKU Literacy Ambassadors. Literacy Ambassadors are future teachers helping to inspire a love of reading in all ages. Books were selected based on reading level and interests.

Welcome to the tent! It is with the utmost delight that we introduce the exceptional eight contestants for this year’s intense run of The Great BG Teach-Off professional development.

This year, with six half-day sessions, contestants will tackle challenges related to their program and goals. We’re looking for creativity, flair, and show-stopping ideas.

How does a fallen tree turn into a nurse log? Students at Dishman-McGinnis explore live organisms right in the classroom, noticing, wondering, and modeling how fallen trees help new life grow.
